Your LIT subscription will be billed once a month or a year on your subscription date. If you want to discontinue your subscription, you can cancel it on-line whenever you want.
LIT’s monthly subscription plan processes billing automatically and recurrently on the date of your subscription. If your billing date is scheduled for a date that does not apply in a certain month (like the 31st), your billing date will be automatically rescheduled for the last day of said month. Your chosen payment mode will enter into effect every billing cycle; however, the transaction may be displayed on your account only after a few days. For LIT’s annual subscription plan, your billing date will be automatically scheduled recurrently for your subscription date.
Read on for more information about LIT’s billing process. For more information about fees, payment modes, how to update or change your billing date or to report duplicate billing, please check the FAQs about Billing.
When you subscribe to the free trial period, LIT checks your data and issues an authorization for billing for an approximate amount to that of the monthly subscription plan. This procedure allows us to associate your data to a valid account that may be successfully billed in the future. This authorization does not stand for billing and will be later deleted from your account.
NOTE: If you have previously registered at LIT, have canceled your subscription but is now renewing it, you will not be entitled to the 7-day free trial, which is valid only for new users.
This authorization is requested by LIT from your financial institution in order to check if your chosen payment mode is valid. This authorization request does not stand for billing, but may have some temporary impact in your account balance.
LIT will issue an authorization request for a given amount, which may vary from location to location or from one financial institution to another. This amount may have a temporary impact in your balance because your financial institution will check if you have available funds for payment. LIT will not collect the amount requested by the authorization. After a few days, the authorization request will no longer be displayed in your account. Please check the amount to be refunded to your account with your financial institution.
Local taxes, depending on your billing address, may be added to LIT’s monthly or annual subscription fees. Some financial institutions may charge additional taxes, so if you have any question, please check such rates with your financial institution.
Only the annual subscription plan may be paid by bank-slip. This payment mode is not eligible to any discount, so the full subscription amount will be billed.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to select this payment mode. You will be sent a voucher within two business days to register for the 7-day trial period as well as your bank-slip for payment. If payment is not made before your trial period expires your access to LIT will be blocked.
The annual plan may not be canceled during its term, even if you request your subscription to be canceled. This plan is not eligible to a full or a partial refund.
NOTE: The invoice will be issued to the originating credit card holder that is registered at LIT. If the chosen payment mode is a bank-slip, the invoice will be issued according to the data provided by the registered user.

The grade average is calculated the following way: 20% for forum participation (case study), 30% for the individual assessment and 50% for the final assessment. You must get at least 7.0 in your final assessment.

When your produced response is ready you will upload it onto LIT as your response to the task. The format of your response may be in Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
You will have to take one individual situated assessment per course. The onlearning tutor will assess your response to the task and you will receive your grade within 10 business days.
The final assessment is a machine-corrected multiple choice test. You will take one of these per course and will learn your grade seconds after you have taken it, on the very course page.
Yes, as you engage in a course, you can choose not to take the assessments; however, no Certificate will be issued, then.

There are several ways through which you can get help to your questions:
You can contact them via LIT practice groups, forums, chats and video conferences.
LIT is an E2E – Everyone to Everyone – based platform where everyone can (and should) interact. Therefore, LIT practice groups foster onlearners x onlearners, onlearners x professors and onlearners x tutors interaction.
In this course area, please post only questions that are related to the course content. These questions will be clarified by onlearning tutors within 48 hours. They may also be addressed by other LIT community members such as professors and other onlearners.
Use your profile to customize your learning experience. At LIT, every onlearner can plan a customized learning journey. Supported by IBM Watson AI, LIT can assess some of your personal features so as to support specific learning strategies that will leverage your learning. You will develop the skills of your interest by engaging with the themes that better fit your career profile.
Paul is the world’s first online tutor using IBM Watson AI to teach business content to users and to customize their learning process at LIT.
Paul can teach you the contents comprised by courses like Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship, and Fundamentals of Accounting. He also knows all the content of the FAQs. More courses will soon be added to Paul’s ubiquitous tutorship.
Paul is continuously trained by a team of professors with Saint Paul AI Research Center. His learning process is based on an algorithm designed by Saint Paul Business School to transfer the knowledge and teaching techniques to IBM Watson, through combined logics, linguistics and intelligence context to AI. Distinct algorithms have been developed to comply with the teaching of diverse technical and behavioral competencies.
Paul is able to customize your way of learning and what you should learn.
The Customize Learning function is the one that defines how you learn. So as to best design your learning experience at LIT it is fundamental that Paul design your advised learning profile and is able to suggest how you should learn. You must take this needs analysis at least once!
So that Paul can assess your learning profile, you must supply examples of both personal and professional day-to-day texts that portray who you are, how you structure your thoughts – like emails, WhatsApp messages, posts etc. The more details you provide, the more accurate the results. As soon as you complete this assessment, you can access your My Profile and check your full learning profile report designed by Paul.
After assessing your profile, Paul will advise you about the more suitable learning mode for you – for instance, if you learn better by viewing a video or by reading. Based on this advice, LIT content will be displayed by adhering to the learning mode that better suits your learning profile.
Your should know that none of the texts provided for Paul’s assessment will be stored or used for any other purposes.
By means of an AI knowledge assessment tool, you will be able to assess your prior knowledge about a given theme and eliminate portions of course contents that you already know and so focus on what you really need and want to learn, thus making the most of your time and enjoying each micro-moment of your day.
The assessment takes some 10 minutes. Each course is structured around four Units of Knowledge and to eliminate some of them, you must show that you know at least 80% of their content, that is, that you have considerable knowledge about each topic. The learning contents that you eliminate will be flagged by a gray selection mark.
Practice Groups aim to allow onlearners to interact by discussing course themes or related topics. Each theme has a specific group facilitated by an onlearning professor or tutor . A group may also be created to discuss a specific theme that is of common interest to a number of students.
Please note that groups are not meant to clarify questions about the theme of instruction. For this aim, please use the field ‘Clarify your questions’, available for every LIT course.
To log in, please click on Groups on the right hand side menu and a dedicated page will open.
As you log in the page, click on Create Group. A pop-up window will open where you can fill in the main features of the group – name, public or private group, category the group belongs to and a group description. To complete the action, click on Create and your group will be created.
Once you are logged in a group, you will find a field in the very center of the page where you can add your comment. Write your comment and then click on Post Comment. You can use the same procedure to comment on someone else’s post.
As you create a group, you have to invite people to join by filling in the field on the left hand side of the page with the name of someone you want to invite. LIT will find that person for you and then you will only have to click on that person’s name to invite him/her.
If the theme of the group no longer interested you, or if you have joined a wrong group, no problem – to sign out all you have to do is to click on the Sign-out icon.
You can engage in as many groups as you are interested in. Please remember that active participation is critical for keeping every group going.
Click on Groups, on the top right hand side corner of the menu. Some groups will be displayed as suggestions for you. Select the group you are interested in and then click on ‘Join’. The group administrator will grant you permission to join. You can then start interacting with the group.

Contact your financial institution or Adyen at https://support.adyen.com/hc/en-us/requests/new to inquire about the problem.
Usually, transactions are declined for security reasons. Your credit card processor may detect an out-of-standard purchasing transaction and refuse the purchase. The risk and fraud assessment systems of acquiring parties that mediate these transactions between the card brands and the retail businesses may also reject a given transaction.
Adyen is the company used by LIT to process payments (and to forward them to its acquiring parties) and so it may decline certain transactions.
Certain LIT promotions allow users to use more than one credit card and pay for their annual subscription in up to three installments. When you choose the payment in installments, you must have a credit card limit equal to or higher than the total subscription amount. Billing will be displayed in your credit card statement according to the payment mode you have selected, signaling the number of installments and amount of each installment.
However, for a monthly subscription, billing is processed every month. Although you should have a a credit card limit equal to or higher than the monthly subscription amount, this payment mode does not impact your credit limit.
It is really easy to change the credit card that you have registered. Log in and then do that on your My Profile page.
