Learning Objectives

Managing profitable business by using indicators. Between 2/3 and 3/4 of large corporations have a hard time implementing their strategies. Why is this rate so low? Research shows that, amongst other reasons, companies do not manage or control their strategies. Strategic Planning is the most frequently used and highly praised management tool; however, when used in isolation, it is not able to ensure success. What is required is a structured process that is able to manage all a Strategy’s planning, implementation and follow-up phases. The aim of this course is to explore this structured process, how to design indicators and strategic maps and how to use the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) tool oriented towards business strategic results.
