Learning Objectives

The main aim of this course is to discuss innovation-related values and ideas and organizational conditions and individuals that can better foster innovation practice. We will explore the most common sources of innovation; how to identify and take advantage of business opportunities to create new businesses, products, services as well as to enhance business processes; most common features and behaviors of entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs (corporate entrepreneurs) who are responsible for managing innovation in organizations. Finally, we will address the tools required for generating and planning new businesses and projects and the key concepts to present and ‘sell’ new businesses and projects – idea pitching.
